Glowscore is a product of W Labs LLC ("we", "us", or "our"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect the following information when you use Glowscore:

• Barcode data — product barcodes you scan, sent to our analysis API to retrieve nutritional information.
• Search queries — restaurant dish names you enter for analysis.
• Scan history — stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. We do not upload your history to our servers.
• Purchase data — if you subscribe to Premium, purchase transactions are handled by Apple or Google and subject to their privacy policies. We do not store payment information.

CAMERA PERMISSION

Glowscore requests camera access solely to scan barcodes. Camera frames are processed on-device and never transmitted or stored. We do not record video or take photos.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

• To analyze food products and return nutritional health scores.
• To suggest healthier food alternatives.
• To enforce daily scan limits on free accounts.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

DATA STORAGE

Your scan history and preferences are stored locally on your device. Clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app will permanently delete this information. We do not back up local data to any server.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

• Nutritional Analysis API — barcodes and dish names are sent to our hosted API for analysis. No personally identifiable information is included in these requests.
• Open Food Facts — product data is sourced from the Open Food Facts database (openfoodfacts.org), which is publicly available.
• Apple / Google — in-app purchases are processed by the platform stores. Their respective privacy policies apply.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Glowscore is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us.

YOUR RIGHTS

Since we store no personal data on our servers, there is nothing to request access to or delete on our end. To remove your data entirely, clear the app's local storage or uninstall the app.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
